My role is to support members of the team around the Business. This may be doing Excel Spreadsheets, interacting with Stakeholders, running reports, finding out new processes, etc.
I have developed my IT Skills and my Communication skills.
I enjoy this programme because we move around Placements which gives us a variety of the business. This also means we get to meet new people.
Our programme is well structured and organised. The only downfall is the clarity of what happens at our end point assessment.
I receive a lot of support from my Employer, I feel as though they are approachable about any situation.
We receive E-Learning on a portal online.
I feel as though sometimes it may be hard to think outside the box and link the learning back in your job role, however doing this more often helps me to see this relevance.
There are a few sports teams available to get involved in, team dinners are also arranged regularly in my experience.
Yes
I would recommend BAE Systems to a friend because there is a lot of flexibility when doing this programme, you can move around if you don't enjoy something. Everyone is very accommodating and helpful as well.
I would say be confident and be willing to learn. BAE Systems is a global company so it is a lot to take in and learn, therefore the willingness is key.
