My Job entails daily operations within my restaurant, including serving or assisting customers with any of their needs or special requests, facilitating tasks and adhering to sanitation standards and safety procedures, while also planning/scheduling/facilitating training sessions for our crew members, observing staff performance and compliance with procedures and corrective coaching where applicable, delegating tasks, and people management, amongst other duties.
Throughout my career, with McDonald's I've learnt a lot from the daily operations of a Restaurant through partaking in the Crew Development programme, and I've also taken on numerous other duties including partaking in a Safety Circle Team, Food Cost Team, and also completing the Crew Trainer Development Programme which has given me more insight into diagnosing issues on a shift, planning skills and coaching skills amongst others.
I really enjoy the lease of new learning materials I've been provided with, from information relevant to my role while also giving me the opportunity to read further to understand different concepts beyond my role. I feel that I'm benefiting more from undertaking an apprenticeship to earn while i learn rather than any alternatives.
