I join various teams within the business throughout the 5 years and help them carry out various activities within the team learning about what they do. At the moment I am helping design test cases for T&C in my current team.
I have learnt many new skills and developed existing ones. Learnt new software, new ideas and concepts, processes within a business that help it thrive, along with all the skills and knowledge i Have learnt as part of my degree
I enjoy this programme greatly. You are treated as a real employee even as just an apprentice. You help carry out actual work that benefits the team, everyone is willing to help your development.
The programme is incredibly well structured. Giving you the opportunity to try different teams and activities to ensure you find the one right for you when you leave into yuor exit role after 5 years. There is plently opportunity for personal development.
As much as you need. From your plcement manager, skills coach, line manager, anyone is willing to help progress your career
Very little, the worst part of the apprenticeship is without a doubt the training provider. In comparison to the employer the training provider do not help with development, extra help or anything.
I feel as though in the future it will help greatly. Right now i have seen a few occasions where it has benefited my role and i expect this list of occasions to grow as i experience more and more teams.
There is a massive range, from sport, to helping out with events, networkings, social events with other apprentices.
Yes
They provide a unique and extremely beneficial apprenticeship, there is help anywhere you look, the people here are amazing, you feel like a full employee and are treated equally throughout, and the salary is extremely competitive
Show them you're not a robot, you can work in a team, you can discuss ideas with others, whilst grades at GCSE and beyond are important for getting in, they care more about youas a person and how you interact with others and the ideas you can bring forward.
