My role involves, managing diaries, which includes arranging meetings and accepting and declining meetings on behalf of another person. I also send a lot of emails, asking questions and talking to other admin employees to organise meetings or if I need to work with anyone on any tasks.
The skills that I have developed are my IT skills, my communication skills, my decision making skills and interpersonal skills, I have also developed my project management skills massively as like to nominate myself to do different tasks when required.
I really enjoy my programme because everyone that I work with is always keen to help me when I'm unsure on what to do, I think my apprenticeship has given me so many skills, such as project management, which will help me throughout all of my working life.
My programme is structured well, with regards to college days, but it would be nice to have a skills coach in my local area that specialises in my subject to ask for help when needed.
I receive a lot of support from my employer when learning, I get learning courses sent to my that I need to complete and also suggested courses to do with my enrich my learning.
I receive a lot of support from my training provider as we have set college days, which provide us with knowledge and then they will set us an assignment to do about what I have learnt in the college day.
Everything I learn from college relates to my role, each college day, there is a different subject to focus on particular skills and knowledge.
As apprentices, we get the option to help out in different things which aren't related o my job role, but could be helpful to do.
