My job consists of maintaining instruments and also carrying out breakdowns jobs which are usually fault finding tasks. I also attend training courses and meetings to enhance my learning on a regular basis.
I have learnt the basic electrical modules during college and also put my learning to practice during work. I have learnt a lot about the company and how the company work.
I enjoy the programme as it’s very structured and organised so I am able to see my progress as the programme goes on.
Very well structured.
My manager and colleagues help me every day and support me on a regular basis. We have regular meetings to discuss my progress and any other opportunities I may be interested in
I have meetings once every 3 months on average. Where my assessor will guide me on what needs to be done next in my apprenticeship
Yes
As it’s a good structure and good starting point for a career.
Be keen and willing to learn.
