Gaining experience in different departments moving around the business to have an insight into the many different job roles that are available at the end of the apprenticeship when we are out of time. Work closely with an experienced member of the departments completing tasks that would be done if working in that department.
Learnt different skills in different departments , from communication skills with lots of different people and different cultures as had a placements working with people who live in Saudi Arabia, learnt new IT skills on software that i have never used before gaining insight and skills that could be used in the future.
It is a good programme for gaining experience going around the different departments to gain insight into where would be great to work once time served as certain departments will be more liked than others so it will make a tough choice on where i would like to work in the future.
The programme structure has been unorganised for several months as covid had a big impact on the business. Furthermore, as the business is split into different units across the UK there is only one main apprentice manager who keeps track of all of the apprentices but they are across the other side of the country, it would be beneficial to have a manager or supervisor that can pass on information more easily to us by being at this side of the country.
Yes
Its a good company to work for where you can have a very varied career and also change career paths and travel the world if that's what is wanted from the individual.
Be yourself and put any qualifications or experiences that you have learnt anything from on your application.
