Making sure all customers are happy and comfortable in the restaurant, dealing with any complaints professionally, doing basic cleaning and detail cleaning jobs, working as a team to provide 4-star quality delicious food.
I have learnt lots of new skills such as how to deal with customer complaints and conflict resolution, and have gained new knowledge about the hospitality sector, such as the different types of customers, and their needs/ wants/ expectations. I have also learnt a lot more about Mcdonald's as a brand.
I enjoy learning new skills and information. I find that as I have never worked in the catering and hospitality sector before, it has given me the skills, knowledge and confidence that I need in order to do a good job.
It is very well organised and easily accessible, I can always message my mentors if I need any help or have any questions.
I received help by being given a couple of hours each week to learn new skills and complete training whilst on the job.
I received lots of help, from one to one phone calls and emails.
It has helped me to perform better at my job as I have never had any experience in this sector before, and helps me to understand how I can meet customers needs and expectations better etc.
