As part of my apprenticeship , I will rotate in 4 different department (Commercially.) The departments are Buying, Merchandising, Food tech and Marketing. Currently in buying , I am in contact with suppliers, analysing our stock and making sure the operation is run smoothly with my line manager.
I have become more organised via different methods, I have learnt new softwares which is extremely important as now I can become more efficient in my day-to-day role. Also I have broaden my skill to communicate with different people which had allowed me to become more confident.
I am enjoying my programme extensively as each day is new and I am constantly learning or even broadening my skill. My personal favourite is that I rotate every 3 months so I am learning different people perspective and about the company.
The programme is very organised. I have two managers: One who will constantly look after me throughout my entire experience and the other in each department. This allows me to have a great support system and allows me to excel.
Everyone is extremely helpful and will offer their help. I have two manager who I am in constant contact with. In addition, I am in a cohort which is nice and comforting as we are all experiencing the same situation.
Every 4 weeks , we have lessons which last 4 hours. From this we have a one to one with our coach then every other lesson we have a progress review in which we are assessed.
It allows me to understand what I need to do to improve and become a better more organised person.
No, not that I am aware of. But teams invite you out.
