Leading a team of 24 direct reports, with annual turnover in excess of £115m and over 600 colleagues responsible in total. Leading and managing the team to deliver commercial budgets, implement change and developing others

absolutely, marketing, self awareness, self development, strategy

Enjoyed it thoroughly, i am so glad i took the decision to stretch and develop myself

very organised and structured, however the initial inform on portfolio completion and process could have been better and prevented as much work being left to the last year

100% could not ask for more support

whenever required support was on hand, never any resistance or challenge

significantly, it has lifted my thinking and awareness of the macro and micro environment and supported my personal development

i have worked for Co-op for twenty years and enjoyed it immensely, i have developed from boy to man. It has a real family feel i have met my partner and best friends in Co-op whilst developing and growing as a leader and more importantly as a person. Co-op encourages difference and being yourself and i have thrived in this culture and environment

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Co-op?

Be comfortable being you, be your best self and don't try to be someone else as Co-op will accept you for you and you can thrive. Its an amazing business
