My job role includes things such as serving and greeting customers, taking payments, talking them through the different holidays we have to offer, giving them information on different destinations and booking their holidays. I also make appointments chase enquiries and order currencies.
My customer service skills have improved massively since working for the company as is is very customer based such as speaking over the phone, in person or via email so it has come along really well and i am now much more confident when serving customers.
I really enjoy the apprenticeship programme i am on as i am always learning new things and gaining more confidence along the way i have a lot of support from my colleagues so this is really helpful.
My programme is well organised and my apprenticeship system is really easy and straight forward to use. This is useful as it isn't confusing and all my work is organised and labelled.
I receive a lot of my support from my colleagues as they help with things they may be more experienced on which is really useful as sometimes its difficult when i am not sure of the answers.
I receive lots of support within the store from my managers and colleagues i know i can always ask someone to give me assistance to check my work or help me answer questions about the travel industry.
Really well as it provides extra assistance with expanding my knowledge further as well as progressing in my job role. The qualification is really useful as i am able to put all my work knowledge into my job to fulfil my role.
TUI have a video call programme called Power hours, this is where anyone in the business can join and listen to updates within the business and whats going on in the destinations we travel to. These are really useful to keep yourself up to speed with what is going on within the company.
