My role as an apprentices consists of learning skills at the manufacturing plant and learning new skills at college
i learned how to weld and use a lath. I have also been able to develop my communication and organization skills.
Our program had a bumpy start and i feel like it lacks variety. hence it gets dull and boring very quickly.
the program was not organized at all i felt lost and anxious most days
i receive positive support from my manager and any questions and issues i have are always answered
very little, we aren't given much help or information when it comes to course work. We are expected to just use the internet to answer them which gets very confusing.
It doesn't feel like what we do at college relates much to what we do at the manufacturing plant.
There are some activities available. However i feel like these activities arent advertised enough
No
It feels very boring and unorganized As everyday is the same, 8 hours in a factory doing the same thing over and over again
If your someone whos enjoys working in an area where your doing the same thing constantly then rolls Royce is perfect for you. If your someone that gets bored easily and need constant stimulation then i would not recommend rolls Royce.
