I'm an RPA developer, which means I develop robots which perform tasks in the same way humans would do. This is essentially software development, but using uiPath and varieties of AI
Learnt lots about the business world and coding in general - specifically learnt SQL, Python, Java, C#, C+, etc.
The programme has been difficult, especially with issues surrounding the training provider, however NatWest have dealt with them swiftly and effectively
In terms of NatWest, the onboarding was very smooth, the support from my line manager is excellent and we feel that there is significant support in the higher levels of management and across the company to provide me with the highest quality experience that they can.
A lot, from all levels of the company
QA have tried to be supportive and help where they can, especially with my skills coach, but I've often found due to inconsistency, that the academic support can sometimes be lacking
Unsure yet, as this is the foundation year and I have just been building on things I learnt in my GCSEs and in my own learning
There are lots of networks at work, which I am available to be a part of and many social events which bring the entire company together. There is a tremendous social aspect of work, and I'm always thoroughly encouraged to partake in these events.
Yes
The culture is fantastic, they are very flexible, and I genuinely feel that my needs are taken into account at all times.
Network with others early, throw yourself in at the deep end, everyone is very friendly.
