During the duration of the Apprenticeship each year you will get more responsibility depending on your commitment. My 4th year consists of placements around the business. Currently, I am on the assembly line and managing a team who build the product. I need to make sure that they have everything they need and support them if they encounter any issues. Day-to-day improvements and developments for the area is also done.

The work side is very good which gives me plenty of new skills and knowledge to learn and apply myself. However, the college side could be more organsied and structured with relevant skills and knowledge. Also at the beginning, there was little structure with where we had to be and what we had to do. however, over the time it is good to see that its improving.
No very from the learning side - the way we are expected to meet these deadlines but also be taught is just not enough time due to the 1 day a week. It feels like we are being taught for 1 day only to then rush and only focus on the assignments The first 2 years at RR was also not structured but over time it has improved.
Over the duration of the apprenticeship we have not had any support but since this last year (4th year) the employer team is starting to support and listen to our concerns and needs. Also its nice to see that for the following apprentices, they will have a far better structure.
Some lectures are supportive but some are also not helpful. It seems that we get a little support with lessons where we learn but then we are left to meet our deadline and assignment sue dates.
Some of the qualifications are relevant but the majority is 'General'
