in my day to day i use all of the Microsoft office products. i help the team with getting the correct data and i make sure it is written correctly in excel. i also use Eikon and Bloomberg to help me with this. i use both Bloomberg and Eikon to download data and put it in to excel
i have learnt how to use excel and i have further increased my knowledge with the Microsoft office products. i have also learnt about python. my knowledge about the financial industry and the markets have massively increased. my knowledge of different strategies like fixed income or equites has increased. i have learnt new things on how to research funds and companies.
i have really enjoyed the program, i was given support by the team and the company. i have picked up many skills from the company's training website and my team. i have also experienced on what it is like to work for a global financial company and how its like working in a office environment
it was very well structured. we had a introduction in the first week and we where also given equipment by the company to help us work from home. if you where missing anything or needed anything then you could order it. in the first week we had the opportunity to learn about the company and meet/ network with different people from the company
the support we received was top class. if we didn't have any equipment the compony will give it to us. for example if you needed a monitor or a laptop for your work then the company provided this for you which was really great. the team was also very welcoming.
the support from the training provider was also really great. we received a textbook to help us with our qualification. the training provider also gave us a learning website which has pre recorded lessons and also has questions and homework which can help you completing the qualification. there was also a mobile app that you could use
the qualification was a introduction the the financial market as a whole. this qualification made me understand the financial industry better. there was different sections/ chapters ranging from equites to bonds. there was also sections about investment funds and regulation which was really helpful to learn about that and transfer that knowledge to my day to day role
there was many social events that you could go to which was organized by the company. you can join different groups and when you join these groups you can network with the members of the group. there's groups about LGBTQ, the army, a group for new people joining the industry and many more
Yes
the compony is really good. you will learn a lot of new skills and meet lots of different people. the compony also supports you and wants you to succeed and the people around you will also help you to succeed. you are able to talk to people from other teams to learn from them and network with them
have a interest in the financial markets and learn about the financial markets. learn about the compony and the company's history. in the interview process just try to be yourself and talk about the stuff that you have researched about the company and the financial markets. be willing to learn new things.
