In my day to day role I support my home department if it is required as well as partaking in work placements within different departments around the company and supporting them where work is needed.
Yes I have definitely learnt more skills, whether it is in college with hands on manufacturing and assembling skills or at work with communication skills and how to hold myself when speaking and meeting new colleagues professionally.
I do enjoy my course I am on and find my job role exciting as i do not know what I will be doing the next day as it can vary a lot. I sometimes find the college work challenging however that is part of the course and learning.
Towards the start of the apprenticeship the organisation and communication was pretty slow. Now it has got better.

I feel it is a prestigious company and feel proud to work there everyday. Also I think it is a incredible experience to start your career with a large company like rolls Royce and you will learn a lot if you go into a department which interests you.
I would do research into what apprenticeships are available and how they run, if you are unaware then contact someone from BMW group. You want to ensure that you gain the experience and qualifications that you want to get into a job role that interests you.
