  • Managing a number of residential and agricultural portfolios. Assisting with all aspects of rural, from tenant matters to discussing works and proposals with landlords

  • The most important skill so far is probably time management! In addiiton I have learnt a huge amount about professional conduct and working within the rural sector

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy it a lot, from day 1 I was able to get involved in all parts of the office. The company also has a strong team building policy, with team activities arranged and many opportunities to build relationships

  • My porgramme is resonably well structured, I know rughly what my next few years will look like. Some more dircction at the beginning would have been beneficial

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Very happy with this, I can contact anyone in the ofice, or further afield who will be very willing and able to offer assistance in all aspects of work, whether it professional, or if you need assisitance with admin or management

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Collegues often offer to help with univeristy work. This is helpful, offering different insights and expertise to grow ny own knowledge base.

  • It provides a good insight into the work i am doing and allows me to put some more information behing the practice i am conducting at work

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Starting in covid has been a struggle for this so far, and I already have a packed schedule of extra-curricular activities. There have been various opprotunities recenntly to attend various events, in addition to some networking events we have done recently

  • Yes

  • Savills is a great company, with a wide range of clients and therefore experience.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Savills?
  • Know an dunderstand the company, it is so much more than sales! The rural division in particular is very varied, there is something for all. Also look into each office, theyall offer slightly different opportunities based on the teams working there
