  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

    • I work in the Innovation team where I am a front-end web developer and I build responsive websites. I am currently using the Zurb Foundation framework to complete this, whilst also developing some back-end knowledge in Angular.JS.

    • I have hugely developed my HTML and CSS skills, whilst also picking up skills in javascript and teaching myself how to use Mongodb.

    • I enjoy my programme greatly, particularly the work I am currently doing and the people I work with.

    • I feel very valued by Capgemini and my role in the company is appreciated.

    • It is fairly well organised, however there has been a recent reshuffle with university degrees

    • I receive a lot of support and they are easily reachable.

    • My employer is very supportive of all my work and helps push me to develop more skills.

    • My salary is reasonable, however travel can sometimes become an issue.

    • Yes, I have attended conferences and other meet ups to help develop my skills and connections.
