  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My job involves covering certain FOH departments such as reception, bar and restaurant. On reception, you check in and out guests and that all guest questions are answered. On the bar, you serve drinks, take food orders and clean the bar if it’s quiet. And in the restaurant, you take food orders and serve them. And ensure the buffet is topped up during breakfast services.

  • The level 2 f&b course I’m currently on going benefits me in many ways. Such as achieving a qualification which could help me progress in my career. • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I've been appointed as sales representative for my hotel. That involves attending monthly meetings discussing about sales targets, ways to upsell and getting trained in teaching/demonstrating food cooking techniques. But other than potentially attending manager meetings at work. I can't think of any other activity's that I par-take in.
