• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and SharePoint • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Training new team members & work experience students I am currently a part of a Mentoring Programme, mentoring a Year 8 pupil meeting weekly to improve his schoolwork and mind-set. Improving my confidence more and more everyday
I enjoyed my programme because I learnt something new everyday while working as a scheduler. I was able to do my day to day job role alongside learning about my company, gaining confidence and skills that I can take with me in the future where I want to hopefully become a manager
At the start on my programme I was able to meet others within Computacenter, I was able to support and be supported by colleagues all over the company doing the same course. I had monthly calls with my apprenticeship lady which were very useful and the portal where my work was set was really easy to use and gave you deadlines.
I received a lot of support from my future talent consultant who was able to give me really good advice. My manager was very supportive and always there for me, ensuring I was given time to do my work alongside my colleagues who would cover my work when I was doing my apprenticeship work.
Throughout I was given a lot of support from my training provider, we had monthly calls and when I was struggling would put in extra calls to help and support me. She worked closely alongside my future talent consultant to ensure we were able to get the outcome I wanted
Throughout my apprenticeship I was able to learn more about the business in a way I wouldn't of thought before starting my apprenticeship. I was able to take leadership and grew my confidence massively. I created an apprentice community monthly call to bring together the apprentices which is still on-going to this day.
Throughout my apprenticeship we had social calls monthly (due to the pandemic these were via teams) and hopefully to meet in the office. There is also fresh minds in Computacenter which is a group for all apprentices and graduates and holds monthly events such as topgolf, sports days and virtual events
