My role is all about customer satisfaction and helping reach the highest satisfaction levels by ensuring the restaurant is clean and presentable and taking the time to talk to the customers, fix and problems and show them that they are valued. Its all about making feel-good moments easy for everyone.
I've learnt how to communicate with a broad spectrum of people and learnt about the different communication methods which is useful all throughout life.
By far its the best thing I've done, it gives me the opportunity to earn money whilst I learn, in a job role that I wholeheartedly enjoy.
At the beginning it was confusing and not the most organised but after that fist month everything fell into place the structure imurgrd and it became very organised.
My employer is always around when I'm doing my work during the hours they pacific schedule me in to do it and will regularly check on me during the time I'm there making sure I'm okay and asking if I need any help.
Couldn't ask for a better training provider, whenever I've had a problem and needed help he's always assured me that I can ring him for help, and when we recap a topic he is understanding even when I don't get my knowledge correct.
It allows me to understand what my position involves more that if I hadn't have done it. Its helped me realise that all customers are different and each and every person should receive service in a different way, a way which bests suits them.
There are many extracurricular activities such as fundraising evens for the Ronald Mcdonald charity and fun social events such as quiz nights and crew parties the opportunities are endless.
