  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy it but after training and having learnt majority of things, it becomes mundane and repetitive, an overpacked day to day life of work and study, especially because we don't get normal breaks like a uni student: we just get the same breaks as other NHS employees.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very well organised

    9/10

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • We receive a lot of support, but there is always room for improvement. It's easy to think of apprentices as normal employees since we do the same job, however outside of work we have a lot going on and deserve a little leniency.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • A lot

    9/10

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Sometimes it does e.g. lab experiments help improve our lab skills for work, but it depends on modules since we all work in different departments, some modules can be irrelevant to the workplace.

    7/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There is one thing: football matches every thursday.

    2/10

  • 9a. Would you recommend NHS to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Ultimately, it is a decent place to work, exasperating at times due to understaffing and pressure, but enjoyable.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NHS?
  • Be prepared for the lack of free time.
