I am a project manager and manage transformation projects for all areas of the Co-op
I have developed existing skills further and learnings from the programme have strengthened by ability within my role
I enjoyed the programme considerably although it was challenging at times alongside a full-time role and caring responsibilities. Having to commence the programme remotely was disappointing, at times the level of engagement online was poor, and it took longer to build relationships with other members of the cohort.
The programme was relatively well organised and structured by ARU.
My line manager and task managers were very supportive throughout the course of the programme. However there was little support evident from the apprenticeship team.
ARU were particularly supportive during the programme and were very understanding and supportive when I faced some personal challenges whilst working towards my qualifications.
I believe that the learnings taken from the programme have provided me with a more rounded understanding of business and leadership, and this has been demonstrated by my exceeding in my last 2 end of year reviews.
There are many extra curricular activities to get involved in at the Co-op including various colleague networks such as ASPIRE (women's network), PACT (parents and carers together), STRIVE (supporting younger colleagues in developing their careers)
