On a day to day basis the apprenticeship consists of learning skills based around the current placement you have with Thursdays being reserved as a college day every week. each placement has around 3 months to be fully completed.
I have learnt multiple new skills over the time i have had as an apprentice. skills which allow me to be a competent person in the areas i have worked in and also skills which allow me to adapt and change.
i enjoy my programme quite a lot as every topic is an interesting topic. its also very rewarding to be able to use my skills learnt inside out work on other places even when i'm not working.
The programme is well structured and has a consistence to it. if there is a change in the timetable it is usually told way in advance to allow for us to sort ourselves out in time for the changed day.
I receive a lot of support if i am struggling with work or personally myself and i am helped to be able to work through my issues. i am also supported mentally to allow myself to keep a strong mind.
As said in the previous question it is the same as i am supported and helped towards my qualifications if i need to be or if i have any queries they will be answered or the answers will be found.
It allows me to be a more competent and safe person when I know what the task is and what needs to be done and also i know how to do it safely.
There are multiple extra activities to become a part of in my apprenticeship such as an apprentice football team and a stem ambassador which allows you to work with and help others.
