Communication and Team Working skills as well as being more open to being independent and problem solving
I thoroughly enjoy my programme, as it allows me to link my on programme learning with accounting tasks completed at work
I attend college once a week and have a day release to accommodate. My training provider will set tasks and my employer gives me time to complete any tasks during work if needed
I receive a lot of support from my employer, they are always open for catch ups and reviews of progress to see if any additional help is required
I have catch ups with my manager and we agree if i need to take any time during the week or at the end of a day to do any practice/revision.
I have found that I have a better understanding of accounting tasks as well as understanding 'why' a process is complete rather than just doing it
