My current role is reception team member for Premier Inn. This involves being the first point of contact for guests when they check in and throughout their stay, answering the phone, responding to emails and other office admin. I also have to make sure the hotel is clean and presentable.
I am learning new processes that are not in my daily role including Genie, linen count, ordering and maintenance portal. This is allowing me to learn the different aspects of the business and how they all fit to ensure the smooth running of the hotel.
I am enjoying learning more about the business and hoping it will assist in my day to day role.
I would say it is very organised/structured. I have digital learning tasks that have to be completed on a weekly basis, along with off the job training. I am set goals by my Lifetime coach to assist with my knowledge, skills and behaviour.
I feel that I receive enough support from my manager that I need. If I have any issues/questions, I know I can speak to them.
I get the support I need. At my reviews they set me goals that will help towards the end point assessment. Again, if I have any issues/question I know I can just ask.
It is helping with my knowledge and confidence.
We have had a team night out for Christmas. Other than that no.
Yes
Good employer.
Just be yourself.
