I work on remediation analytics and regular reporting. This involves analysing customer data and joining many datasets together.
I have learnt how to code in SAS and develop my SQL skills. I have also developed stakeholder management skills.
I was enjoying the programme as I was learning new technical skills until I was made redundant so I had to cancel my participation in the programme
The programme is well structured with lots of support from the skills coach who will go above and beyond to assist me.
I received a moderate amount of support from my employer.
The training provider was extremely helpful in providing support and explaining difficult topics so that everyone understood them.
The course was helping me to perform better as it was helping me develop new skills. But now the qualification isnt helping me as I cannot finish it so I do not get a qualification from it.
There are sports clubs to get involved in.
No
I would not recommend HSBC to a friend as management are very short sighted so the whole apprenticeship has been a waste of time as redundancy has meant this cannot be completed.
To be aware of the potential for redundancies. Your job will never be secure
