I look after the employee at first direct who are within the HSBC group. I design the strategy we want to have for our employees for first direct to be an employer of choice for the UK. I lead a team of 7 FTE and provide them with coaching on a daily basis.
Yes - I have developed existing skills on coaching and learnt some new tools and models to support
I enjoy meeting with other people on the cohorts, and the e-learning. There is a lot to do whilst managing own workload. The virtual classrooms are also really good. We did previously have someone who read from the slides and didn't feel like a good way to spend time, but this was changed following feedback and these are really good and benefical now. As there has been a change I have rated a 9.
Very - I have a plan of what to aim to achieve and when to help manage my workload.
My employer knows that I am completing this programme and supports me with opportunities to complete workplace development opportunities
I receive a 6 week and 12 week call with my skills coach who is incredibly supportive and understands the subject matter well
helps me be a better coach for my people which in turn allows me to be a better leader creating more successful teams
