We start the day off with completing outstanding orders reports if they are due in by lunchtime, and then we move on to raising orders with the accounts we are aligned to and give any extra support to the teams we are aligned to if needed.
I have learned many new skills such as learning how to use the software that is used by my organisation and I have also developed my communication skills a lot from the beginning of my apprenticeship I also have learned many new things like placing orders, and dealing with returns.
I enjoy this programme a lot. It's interesting learning new things I've never done and never thought I would ever be doing. The teams are very kind and are good at making me feel comfortable. The company culture is really good they are very diverse and cater to everyone's needs.
They have a lot of training with is conducted as we start our apprenticeship and my manager was really good support through all of that she supported us all when needed and we learned a lot about the structure of the company and the different teams and then slowly were assigned an account or two each. I would say they are really organised.
My manager has given me the most help and helped me to improve myself a lot. The HR team is always there when needed. We have a OneCC page which we can go to whenever we are confused about anything to do with the company and my mentor is always there to help when I need it.
My Tutor is very helpful any questions I have she will help me out with that and she will always let me know how I am doing and I always get feedback on how I could improve. We have learning resources to come with every one of our tasks. I do enjoy it.
we have had tasks like communication skills and business principles which help us in our day-to-day roles. I feel like I know a lot more about my organisation from doing my qualification because we have also had a few tasks about my organisation and I have had to do a lot of reaseching about it
There are loads of company events and social events for teams in Computacenter to get together and have a bit of fun together. We also have a sports day coming up. The locations are really good for where everyone is based because it is a reasonable distance and everyone's transport is always covered if that's a problem.
Yes
Because they are a very well organised organisation and have been aiming got achieve the best and have been improving massively since I have joined so who knows what else they will be able to achieve as new apprentices join and as the connections grow and as older employees remain.
Be prepared, practice your interview with someone, ask all the questions you can, take all the opportunities you get - you don't know where it could take you in life. Don't ever look down on anyone for what their job role is, they are still equal to you. I would have liked to be told to ask more questions and explore Computacenter more.
