  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • As an Equity Analyst I research into different businesses that abrdn can invest into. I also work with a lot of big complicated excel spreadsheets. I also am involved in meetings with abrdns brokers to discuss how useful their research has been to us to look into what businesses to invest in

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • the recruitment process is very long but you are well communicated to all the way through and have help avaliable at every stage. we had a 2 day induction at abrdn and it was very useful. They thought of all the questions we might have and made sure they covered it all for us. when you start your job you get given a budy that tends to be in the same part of the business as you that you have regular meetings with to help with any enquiries you may have. you also can still ask the team that run the induction days and the recruitment process for any help you may need aswell
