I must build and maintain relationships with customers by calling them, emailing them and having meetings with them. Use my technical knowledge and communication skills to understand the pain points withing their IT infrastructure and come up with the most suited solutions.
I have developed my communication skills hugely as I can now speak to a range of introverted and extroverted people confidently. I have had to learn new time management and organisation skills to be able to balance the workload of my sales job and the workload of the apprenticeship.
I enjoyed learning new technical knowledge and knew skills with my peers. This apprenticeship allowed me to gain new friends and new life experiences.
We know what is expected of us every step of the way and have the support to meet these expectations.
Lots, there were multiple people i could go to for support and we had regular check ins to see how we were doing.
Firebrand was great, they supported us when and where needed. They always had the time of day to help and when above and beyond preparing me for EPA.
I am able to have more technical conversations with my customers using the training provide throughout this apprenticeship. i can also now target and work with my account more strategically due to the sales course that were provided by firebarnd.
I am part of the pride network and the supporting women in business networks. I have attended Softcat hosted sports events and other social activities.
