Day to day I am working alongside members of my team on development consultancy reports for clients. These involve site visits abroad and then conducting a large amount of market research on the subject property, surrounding area and possible competitors. I work through the end to end process and am given significant responsibility.
I have learned and developed my IT skills, in particular through use of excel. This involved data analysis, use of pivot tables and a wider variety of graphs. I have also developed my skills in attention to detail as this is required to ensure a high level of work is delivered consistently.
I really enjoy the variety day to day in my job and the fact that I am given responsibility and independence in my work. I also enjoy working with a variety of people in my team as teamwork is a big aspect of the industry, this also helps to widen my skill set.
It is well structured as it is mostly structured around creating development reports which have a 12 week timeframe and so this gives my working week a direction. I also get support from the wider company with structured graduate training opportunities which help towards APC progression, this is organised for us by te HR team
I get lots of support with having a day off each week to do my university studies.
The support is all offered online so it takes some time to navigate and understand it properly.
My qualificaton will help in my wider role, however the specific team which I am in does not relate directly to the qualification
There are a large number of extra-curricular activities available.
Yes
