My role involves around customer service and making customers happy. Apart of completing my apprenticeship tasks I book holidays and, deal with holiday enquiries. I also help customers if they have a problem with their booking
Yes, I have gotten a lot more confident in communicating with customers and my team colleagues. I have also gained knowledge about destinations around the world
I really enjoy this because my colleagues and managers are really supportive and always give a helping hand when I am struggling or not know something. I have always wanted to work in the Travel and tourism industry so I am really happy that this opportunity has been given to tme
My manager has put in place one day a week for me to be completely off the shop floor and focus on my apprenticeship tasks to be able to successfully finish my apprenticeship. I am really grateful for this as my manager is really supportive
My manager is really supportive and always makes sure that I am up to date with everything and if I have an issue, he always tries his best to put something in place in order to get it sorted
My manager and colleagues are always there when I need help whether it's to just check for any spelling mistakes or any questions that I may have. Like I answer in previous box, my manager has put at least one day a week for me to be off the shop floor to be able to focus on my apprenticeship work
I have completed extra training since I am an apprentice, which has helped me has e better in depth understanding of my job role. The extra modules have helped me gain knowledge about different destinations
I have recently been accepted for an Educational trip for TUI River Cruise, which has taught me what our river cruises have on offer and gave me a taste of what our customer can expect. This has given be a confidence boost when it comes to selling our TUI River Cruises. I also have attended multiple virtual trainings within the company
