  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • my role is customer care i work out on lobby which involves cleaning and taking care of customers. i help with running out food to cars that are waiting and click and service which is where customers order in the car park and we take food to them. also helping with complaints

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • yes i've learnt new skills and developed existing skills. i'm better at listing to people and helping with issues that arise in my day to day working with customers. also i understand the policy more of how to deal with complaints and issues with food and drinks also

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • i'm enjoying the programme quick alot i'm learning loads of new things and understanding more about policy and understanding what customers needs are and how to deal with them. i also find it interesting and helpful in giving advise to other team memebers who are in need thenselves

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • it is very well organised and structured. I like the way everything is put into different groups so you can learn at your own pace and this makes it easier to follow and understand the course better. i can take one section at a time or do more than one

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • i received alot of support from McDonald's with any questions or issuses i have with the course. also we have HIG chats which are hows it going chats. these help with any issues i might have with the course and how its going and if i need any help with anything

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • yet again i receive alot of help from my training provider and my coach. with things that i get stuck on or have trouble. also we speak every month to make sure everything is alright and i'm working at a pace that is good for me and helps alot

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • i think my qualification helps me perform my job better and to understand how i can help better deal with issues that arise with customers. also helps if there is with someone order or food and any other problems that happen in store or with a delivery order or dru thro order

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • no there isnt we did have a football team. we could get something together and try to do something as a group maybe do a group walk, run or visit the zoo there are lots of different things that we can do as a group or just have a fun day out

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • because we are a great company to work for and there are lots of oppunrties to go forward and become a crew trainer or manager as there are alot of training programmes on line that are fun to do and help you learn more about the company and its policy


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to McDonald's?
  • be yourselves at McDonald's and we are like a big family everyone is happy and you can have alot of fun while your working and learning. you dont need to hided who you are and just be yourself with everyone. taking it one day at a time everyone helps everyone else
