My role is a modern apprentice so my day consists of learning new things such as systems or to develop my knowledge on a certain destination. I learn on the job and I consider myself part of the team. I contribute by doing daily tasks like booking checks and window deals. I also sit with customers to book their holiday.
I have developed lots of skills whilst being here such as communication skills whether it be talking to my colleagues or talking to customers. I also feel more confident when trying to close a sale to my customer. I also have completed lots of training that has developed my destination knowledge.
I love my programme as I am working towards a qualification in something that I enjoy doing. I get to work with supportive a team which are always willing to help me. Its met my expectations and more.
My programme is structured very well. I have set days a week where I can do my apprenticeship learning or have time to catch up on certain tasks etc. I also have a call with my assessor every 6-8 weeks were we go over my progress and what I need to be doing to work towards my apprenticeship.
I receive a lot of support from my employer. My manager always guides me and gives me time away from the shop floor to focus on my apprenticeship. I can always go to anyone in my team if I need help/support.
My assessor is always a phone call or message away if I need help or to even answer a question I may have.
My learning helps me to carry out my job as the best as I can. The training I have been giving is helping me meet my targets.
Yes, we often have staff nights out after work.

It is an excellent company to work for and they are really interested in helping me gain this qualification and helping me to become the best i can become.
Don' be afraid to ask for help, as everyone has been in you position before. No question is a silly question. Also, to try your best in everything you do!
