Yes, i have overall improved my project management skills, system awareness, system thinking, system design. I have learnt sql, java, sequal, html, C, java script and many other languages as part of the course. I have improved my presentation skills, delivery and planning communications to a high standard. i have also completed the ISTQB qualification.

the programme was very enjoyable, the culture to learn was good and engaging. This met my expectations as the facilities support learning and the staff and very helpful and want you to achieve your best. overall the 4yrs has been hard work but resulted in new experiences and topics i have brought to my role.

induction was well thought out and helped settle people into the new year. the support was always available and metors always came back to you with good ideas and ways to approach the work., overall organisation was strong and clearly thought out. All slides and training material is available to you through moodle to go back over after class.

My manager was very supportive and was always interested in what i was doing and provided ongoing checkins to make sure i was on track. My mentor at mmu was excellent, she really understands the pressures of the day job vs the commitments from mmu. she was always available when needed and provided sound advise at the right times

tutors overall were excellent, they have engaging content that was well structures and available at all times. Ongoing feedback meant the submissions of work were to a high standard and the marks have reflected that. I enjoyed working alongside the academics who ensured classes were interesting and relevant to the project work we carried out

I have taken alot of skills back to the office and applied them over the 4yrs, the overall approach to new challenges and projects are now easier as we have faced so many previously on the course. applying theory also has ensured the activities come from a place of learning oppose to guessing what will work. I now know alot more about the industry and the different ways businesses delivery change

Due to the pandemic that sat across 50% of my course it was hard to get involved in many events or activities other than those on teams like quizzes and catch ups. outside of work i go to the gym, play football, bike riding and riding a motorbike with friends

MMU provide students with everything a student needs to success, the courses are relevant, facilities are good and the tutors there to help you get the best mark possible. Overall i have had a good experience and would recommend anyone to take up the course if they are interested in IT

Enjoy the onboarding process and get to know where you are going and what rooms you will be in, speak to the tutors and really understand what work will be needed. the advise i would give would to be good at time management and understand that you will have multiple deadlines for different projects and deliverables.
