my roles that stay the same everyday at the moment are, filling printers with paper, opening and scanning post after post I will sit on reception to help cover. After lunch I will do either coursework or any secretarial work that is needed, like meeting packs and bank statements I am also doing dedicated support for SIPP
I hve furthered my communication skills and work through my time management
I find the programme fairly straightforward at the moment and I am enjoying it so far
My tutor is very good and I can rely on her for anything and therefore i feel very structured in this programme
At the moment the support has been okay, but the overall time I get to spend on coursework isn't enough and sometimes this isn't seen as a priority I feel like. I understand I can do coursework outside work hours But I am also learning to drive which I finish at 8 pm therefore I don't have a lot of time for myself.
My tutor Victoria Howard from Babington has been amazing and gives me all the support I need, even though we only call every few weeks I can always rely on her via email if I am struggling with anything.
I think it helps me to understand the structure and polices more in the company work for which makes me better at my job so that I am not breaching
Not that I am aware off
Yes
I would recommend to a friend as it is a good head start to get on the career ladder, However aim for a higher role as sometimes you're forgotten about because of being a secretary and a lot gets dumped on to you, which is had when you're trying to do coursework. you get great benefits like pension and health care and the people in my Amersham team are the friendliest and most caring people to work with.
if you can applying aim for an apprenticeship that is in a higher role so that you can learn a specific skill for example marketing
