As a Sales Business Analyst I work intimately with our account teams and service specialists to understand customer requirements, and then design and deliver solutions and service packages, which exceed the requirements of our customers. Typical day-to-day activities include engagement with our customers, presentations, collateral creation and project leading, which at first was daunting, but has massively helped boost my confidence within the work place.
My role has enabled me to develop both, personally and professionally. I have learnt tons of new skills and developed exiting skills, that will help me to succeed in the technology and service provider industries. The value I have received in such a short time, has really helped me to develop well in my role, with continued opportunity for development.
I have thoroughly enjoyed working for Computacenter, and undertaking the activities as a part of my apprenticeship. The work environment enables me to learn, speak freely and have fun, whilst promoting a culture where I as an individual, are valued. All work that I undertake, comes with a level of responsibility which I didn't believe I would find in an apprenticeship.
My program has been incredibly well structured, with heavy cadence from my boss, mentors within my team and the apprenticeship support structure I have received from our future talent division. The support structure behind me has enabled me to succeed in my role, and develop both professionally and personally. Any issues I have had, there has been clear and effective communication, and enabled me to mould my apprenticeship and support structure, to better suit me as an individual.
The support at Computacenter has been incredible. I have been able to flourish within my role, whilst learning valuable lessons form both, mistakes made and successes.
My training provider, Quest, has been excellent throughout my apprenticeships duration. my trainer listens to our feedback and takes it in his stride, to provide further opportunities for us to learn and develop.
My qualification (Level 3 IT technical Salesperson), has been fantastic at helping me merge into my team and job role. The skills and knowledge I have gained from the course, have been applied in real-world opportunities and enabled me to drive the value from my conversations both internally and externally.
Computacenter is a very social company, that hosts many events. As a part of my apprenticeship, I get to attend both professional networking events, such as technology roadshows and vendor hosted evenings. I also get to attend our future talent organised social activities, which include activities such as mini golf, mock sports days and speaker events.
Yes
In addition to all the reasoning above, Computacenter is a fantastic company to work for where every individual is valued and their opinion matters. The work culture has created a friendly yet competitive work environment, that welcomes collaboration and ideas. I would highly recommend anyone looking to get into the IT industry, to consider a place within Computacenter.
Be yourself, Computacenter and the people welcome all individuals and there personalities, ways of working and ideas.
