My job role can be very reactive at times, meaning team priorities have to be quickly updated to ensure we are delivering safe, effective customer service.
The programme taught me essential management techniques and how to build trust with my colleagues
Being on the programme was a great way to develop myself, to ensure that i could be as effective as possible in my job role.
The programme was very organised, and was quickly adapted to ensure that the program could continue throughout the pandemic
My store manager didnt approach me to discuss the programme, the progress i was making or check to see if i needed any support
My mentors & facilitators made it very clear from day 1 of the programme that if we need support then reach out by phone and email. When support was requested they were always very understanding and empathetic and conducted regular check-ins on my wellbeing.
Whenever i am unsure on a particular area, i always review my learning diary to locate my learning resources to make sure im taking the best approach to deal with the circumstances
