As a building services engineer apprentice I assist with jobs and follow along with senior members of staff whilst also given my own responsibilities. I attend meetings and am in constant communication with my work team.
Plenty. Communication with clients and with my team is a large aspect. My time management has improved since reaching deadlines is important. A large part of the job is quality assured projects therefore my attention to detail has also improved.
I have plenty of support and am driven to learn new skills and develop my skills within the trade.
reviews are put in place regularly and any concerns I know who to turn to. Alot of progress paths are well outlined to me throughout.
Plenty of support is provided. I also know who to turn too when unsure.
University holds lectures and provides plenty of resource to prepare me for exams and coursework, but can lack in individual support.
There is large crossover between work and Uni, skills in both often overlap.
Plenty of CPDs are held weekly, there are often events held over the year focusing in different areas of the industry.
