Preparation, Completion and Submission of UK personal and trust tax returns alongside other tax related pieces of work. This may include communications with HMRC and/or communication with the client we are acting for.
I have developed my communication skills and my organisational skills. I have become more confident in public speaking and have learnt how to be thorough when analysing data and related documentation.
I thoroughly enjoy the work I am doing and have recommended others to pursue a career within KPMG. The programme has allowed me to experience different elements to the accounting industry such as Audit and Tax where I have found the area i wanted to specialise in.
The apprenticeship is very well organised and has alot of support channels we can pursue if we had any issues or queries. I have found communication from programme organiser to be clear and explanatory.

I have received alot of support in different means dependent on my position at the time from exams to personal difficulties. WIthin my exams they provided me with alternative routes and measures to improve my ability to sit and pass the exams.
The improved understanding and foundational knowledge you learn from the training provider has improved my ability to do my work and have a better understanding as to why we complete different pieces of work.
There is a very wide social network that spans the nation. In our office we have socials to mix outside the working environment and have multiple sports teams from football, cricket and many more.

The people have been incredibly supportive and open from the first day. I have experienced other work places and not enjoyed working alongside people as i have here. It is also a very grounding job learning a craft which can be used in day to day life.
The business is huge and has many different work streams. Take some time to understand some of the different sectors and find what interests you.
