So far the experience is going great. The thoughts that I would have are not the ones that I am having which is brilliant. The opportunities that can be achieved are bound less. I am having the time of my life with this course and am truly thankful to asda.
I am currently developing my skills that I already had and constantly improving the skills that I did not no that I had. The new skills that I am learning are helping in my day to day. I like the contrast of the old and the new things leant so far
The promgrame is very enjoyable. Things are easy to follow and the tutors and skill coaches are very helpful and will do anything to help with this. My fellow apprentices are great and I get on with all of them. With out the help from both academics and class mates you will not succeed
I think that the programme is very well structured. The pace of the tasks and assignments are well thought out. The programme is very easy to follow but the thought needed to go into it is vast which helps expand your thoughts and harriozon in terms of academic gains and means
My employer could give me more support in store. The apprenticeship team are good at communicating news that I need but the store teams can do more for me in store with extra time for assignments and weekly tasks. I could do with extra support there as I am not given the time after I have moved departments
The training provider is brilliant. Any question I have is answered in an timely manner. I feel that I can ask any question without feeling in the wrong. If I am off track then they point me in the correct direction. All the extra help that they offer is great.
I am putting into practice some parts at the moment but the information I am learning at the moment is mainly head office based and not shop based. As now we are going on we are now learning about more shop based stuff. This will help me in store from jow on
There are not many of these. This has declined since covid, but I can not see this improving in my store. My store could do more for extra curricular activties to help engage the colleagues into helping out more in the community. This will be beneficial for all parties with this
No
At the moment the company is not a great place to work. The company will hopefully return the the place it once was. This will be beneficial for staff and customers that will help asda get back to the top of the pops with in the supermarket chains in the uk
Please look at what you are getting into at the moment. If you are looking for short term then do not start working for asda at the moment. If you are looking for the long game then yes yes yes work for asda. They have helped me get towards my degree.
