My day to day activities include auditing large to medium companies. I produce up-to-the-minute information, using internal computer systems, to allow management to base decisions on actual, not historical, data. A typical day will also include: Review data about material assets, net worth, liabilities, capital stock, surplus, income, and expenditures.
I have learnt alot of new skills like communication, presenting, General IT skills, Numeracy, Accountancy standards, Business knowledge, Data analysis, Critical thinking, Organisation, Time management, Attention to detail, Adaptability and Service orientation. I have learnt a lot of skills from learning on the Job which I found very useful day to day.
I really enjoy my programme because it means that I can meet a lot of new people who have the same interests as me. I also like studying with my colleagues because it helps us get closer together. I also enjoy the clients I work with because it's industries I enjoy.
The programmes is very well organised and everything gets planned out and a timetable is given to us which give sus all the exam dates, revision time slots, study dates and everything we need to know about our studies. I also like how well structured it is so that we have time to get our heads around the topics before an exam.
I receive a lot of support from my employers and they give me all the relevant information I need and when I have questions I always have a person to talk too. My colleagues all help me with my work and understanding certain topics and policies that we perform and understand.
I receive a lot of support from my Training provider BPP and they give me all the relevant information I need and when I have questions I always have a person to talk too. My colleagues all help me with my work and understanding certain topics and policies that we perform and understand.
I feel like my qualifications provide a foundation for all of my work so that I fully understand what I am doing and why I am doing it which give me new aspect to it all. I also really like gaining more knowledge about my job so I can improve my skillset which it has helped a lot already.
I do sometimes get involved with networking activities which I like as I meet new people and I can broaden my network of professionals. I also like the events they set up for Christmas and Easter which are fun and nice to attend because of how much food they give out .
Yes
Because it is a great environment wo be working in, the people are friendly, the pay is decent, we get good training, the carrier progression is very good, the clients you work with are fun and exciting, you get a lot of cool benefits and It's in general a nice place to work at.
I would say is be proactive and do things that show that you want to work in this roll, have a strong CV with good experience, be truthful, show your enthusiasm through your CV, define a good skillset that you want to grow on and expand and finally just be yourself.
