Audit financial statements to ensure they are fair and correct and accurately reflect the clients financial position. Work with teams on different clients, visit and work at client sites, liaise with clients daily via phone and email. Attend client meetings and arrange meetings with both colleagues and clients. Study if an exam is coming up.

I enjoy working in lots of different industries for example retail, sciences, farming, and banking. I get to meet lots of new people as working with lots of clients and there are many employees at the company across the world. there are also opportunities to socialise with team menevrrs and peers.
It is very well organised as there is a week induction which is full of meetings and calls with different team memevers to learn about the company and audit. There is a good structure to the learning programme and college every few months and then an exam which relates directly to day to day work
Lots of support as there is an allocated performance manager with regular catch up and also career development meetings with partners to further support well-being and career development. There are long hours worked so keeping on top of well-being can be tough but lots of resources given to help out
Bpp is good as they have a dedicated email address just for kpmg employees which is good to contact them for support on exam and studies. They are also good at having forums before Exams with the tutors so that pupils can ask questions on their upcoming exam and questions they find hadx
I use the qualification in day to day life as it directly relates to accounting and ethics that I have to use in every day work. We learn a lot about the accounting policies for example ifrs which relate directly to the client work we perform. We also learn about testing techniques
There are lots of roles you can take on for example running clubs, fantasy football, there are also regular socials which take place that are good for meeting new people. Socials also take place within the apprentice group not just in offices so you can meet people from across the cintnry
Yes
It is a positive place to work which gives lots of opportunity for career development and also secondments to different areas of the uk or the world. There are also lots of opportunities to travel to client sites so you are never working at the same place every day. Remote working also
Research lots about kpmg and the area of the business you are applying to. For example ensure you know a lot about audit if you are applying to audit. Also have examples for team working and communications skills so that they can see where you have demonstrated these previously in other roles and school
