No real day to day routine/ responsibility/ only real contact with my line manager on a weekly basis, workload based on a fortnightly sprint pattern.
reinforced excel skills, exposure to data analytics tools such as GA and content square, and currently developing SQL skills.
the loneliness does not help, my manager has been vary helpful, friendly and insightful however she is based in Newcastle, not London, the offices I report to are a ghost town there is where my expectations where not met. The department I was attached to did not have analysts in the past so we where both underutilised.
My manager/mentor was very insightful and helpful. I felt like a valued member of the team (team of two), she provided lots of help when I had issues and was very constructive with any critisizems will miss her when she leaves
Losts of support and provided in online lessons, mentoring and luring tools.
No
I want a sort of option. other people have enjoyed their program and I do not doubt that their feelings are real however I felt it was a mistake that I was put in a department with no already established analytics team, i felt I would of enjoyed my apprenticeship more if I was attached to a more established analyst Everyone is friendly, nice and helpful it was the work that was very sluggish to get off the ground
Check if you are moving into an established role or not i.e your manager is not a new starter as well. If they are then great, if not then your workload may be light to begin with, as your manager will struggle to carve out their nich as well as support you.
