Year 1 involves full time training with days dedicated to college work but the majority being practical.
Yes there are opportunities to carry out tasks and work with machinery or equipment that is very specialised.
The programme is good, however it can be hindered by poor organisation or a lack of communication
The organisation on the day to day is ok, however the training provider has very poor organisation and low levels of support for the lecturers
There is good support available from my employer with any issues etc
The lecturers are great and have excellent knowledge of the units and are able to support but there feels like a lack of structure from the management team.
The units selected are chosen to be as relevant as possible to the job when you have completed the course.

The group is an excellent place to start your career with plenty of opportunities for development and different paths if you ever want a new challenge. People you meet are very helpful and able to assist in your endeavours
