I provide IT-based solutions for education. Requirements are always different, so the job is always challenging. I am involved in sales, customer service, procurement, and financing to provide the best solution for each client.
I am always undertaking training courses for different products and also attend conferences when changes to security and IT guidance and policies are updated by Local Authorities and Government.
I always enjoy learning new skills and becoming better at my current job role. This degree definitely fits the bill for me as I currently do a lot of what is being taught. Learnigteh models and theories is a new part for me.
Very good, easy to follow, good structure, always able to ask questions. Support is always available. Very happy so far.
I have time set aside each week for reading and writing for University. Work is supportive of me, as I believe they would like me to be part of a higher management role in the future.
As previously stated, lots of support si available and accessible.
My role undertakes a lot of what we are learning. The structure and learning theories will definitely help me adapt and improve my current position.
At work, there is not much socializing as I have 4 children at home. However we are looking to create more team bonding events, twice a year to help the overall team well-being. I do attend work events to meet prospective clients.
Yes
Lots of support is provided. Senior management is easy to access to discuss issues. A lot of autonomy is provided as your gain experience and skills.
Ensure you know how the education sector works compared to business. It is different, and how you speak to clients and engage with them is very important and not the same as in other sectors.
