Managing all aspects of food safety systems and compliance of legal and customer standards for manufacturing of frozen potato products.
Enforced knowledge and skills already present with academic based knowledge. Vastly increased knowledge on other food processing businisess and their processing methods, legal requirements, chemical and microbiological standards and agriculture practices on impact of raw materials and finished product quality.
Very much enjoy all aspects of the program, from lectures and friendly lecturers, to practicals where you get to create food from raw ingredients and test them using sophisiticated methods of analysis. Best part is to be able to integrate with the course colleges and share expirences.
Very much organised, besides of sporadical situations out of control of the University (i.e. sicness, break down of equipment etc.). Support available at every stage and adequate training given prior to commencing tasks.
Business allows to take as much time as possible to conduct studies. Workplace mentor support little bit lacking due other commitments on the mentor side.
Full support needed, every lecturer is easy accessible and always happy to help in need, which is a great help. Especially in times when you try do do a degree, while working full time and have a family with small childer.
More knowledge about the industry and possible opportunities to develop career. Can't wait for the journey ahead, both academic and career wise.
Family fun days and days out of work for team building activities and breefings. Lots of social events and opportunities to help charities and undertake voluntary work. Plenty of training available.
