As part of my Data Analysis apprenticeship i have learnt SQL language to assist with my analysis and i have expanding upon my PowerBI and Excel skills. I have used this new knowledge in PowerBI to create Human Recourses dashboards that help the businesses to perform analysis on data more quickly and efficiently
I am thoroughly enjoying my data analysis level 4 programme. My coach at multiverse is always on hand to assist and help with any queries or questions i may have when i am having difficulties. My team is also always available to assist when i need help. I really enjoy the culture here at Unilever and i would love to work here full time one day.
The data analysis level 4 programme is really well organised. The training invites are sent out a couple months or weeks in advance this allows me to plan my other meetings around this. This also allows me to make my team aware when i will and will not be available for meetings.
My employer is always on hand to support where i need assistance i have regular one to ones with my line manager this allows me to discuss any concerns i may or may not have, allows me to get feedback where necessary and allows me to stay in top of my work by letting them know what capacity i have available.
I have received lots of support from my training provider especially my coach at multiverse. They have always been on hand to set up any support meetings when i have had questions or i am experiencing difficulties with a certain project. These ease of contact has made dealing with any issues so much more simpler
My level 4 data analysis qualification has allowed me to step up a lot of my skills in my role. i have built analysis dashboards in Power BI as a result of my training and i have also provided training and support myself to some of my colleagues about subjects i have learnt as part of this apprenticeship
Yes there are extra curricular activities to get involved in outside of work. As a team we regularly go out to lunch together which as the start was a great way to get to know everyone. Unilever has hosted multiple quiz nights whether this be in person or completed via teams and there is also a fantasy football league which i have thoroughly enjoyed competing in
Yes
Unilever is a great place to work the culture here is very good and the work life balance allows me to do stuff outside of work that i have not been able to do in previous jobs. The discount on the products in the Unilever shop are also very good as this allows me to save money on the necessities
The first tip i would give to someone applying to Unilever would be to familiarise yourself with the Unilever suitability policies. These are a big part of the culture here at Unilever and will make you stand out from the crowd when completing assessment days and interviews. The assessment days are a really good experience so even if you are not successful in getting a role make the most of the day.
