  • Didn’t get any support from the bupa care home and felt they were taking advantage of me. The bupa care home never followed through with the promises they made me after proving over abs o et again to them I was more than capable of taking on more responsibility and leadership. I felt undervalued and unappreciated by the bupa care home.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Bupa to a friend?
  • No

  • 9b. Why?
  • The bupa care home I worked at treated me badly and made me feel undervalued and unappreciated, despite doing more than my fair share, and more than any other carer there. I took on extra duties and I was not once recognised for everything I was doing for the bupa care home. I was often under pressure to make sure things got done abs oftentimes carrying other care staff who were very lazy and would not carry out the duties I asked them to do.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Bupa?
  • Think twice before applying to work at the bupa care home in Brighton, as you get taken advantage of and never recognised. Far too many agency staff there.
