Support adults with learning difficulties in everyday tasks from personal care to cooking and cleaning, helping them with shopping and attending appointments.
I have learnt alot about all different learning disabilities and all the different physical needs people may have, I have developed my people skills with both residents and other health professionals.
I really enjoyed the programme and it gave me the knowledge and confidence to speak up, it has given me a thirst for more and looking forward to doing another course.
I found the programme brilliantly structured, it was very well organised. I started in April 2021 and finished and got my results by end of April 2022.
My employer was good they gave me time at work to do some studies.
The provider was excellent my personal coach was [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] and she was brilliant.
It helped immensely, it gave me the knoedge and confidence to deal with many situations.
We do activities with our residents but not as a team.

They're too big and charge service users astronomical prices but don't provide enough carers to give the best support.
Big strong and speak up about improvements that need to be made, be prepared for a lot of hard work.
