  • Support adults with learning difficulties in everyday tasks from personal care to cooking and cleaning, helping them with shopping and attending appointments.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt alot about all different learning disabilities and all the different physical needs people may have, I have developed my people skills with both residents and other health professionals.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoyed the programme and it gave me the knowledge and confidence to speak up, it has given me a thirst for more and looking forward to doing another course.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I found the programme brilliantly structured, it was very well organised. I started in April 2021 and finished and got my results by end of April 2022.

  • My employer was good they gave me time at work to do some studies.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The provider was excellent my personal coach was [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] and she was brilliant.

  • It helped immensely, it gave me the knoedge and confidence to deal with many situations.

  • We do activities with our residents but not as a team.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Bupa to a friend?
  • No


  • 9b. Why?
  • They're too big and charge service users astronomical prices but don't provide enough carers to give the best support.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Bupa?
  • Big strong and speak up about improvements that need to be made, be prepared for a lot of hard work.
